The is the first entry of my new Blog. It is made for rants. Rants about strange things that humans come across each day (though they may notice or not). Be assured, they are all around us.
Today I was walking along the many halls of the VA Medical Center (where I get all my medical care..and no, I have no complaints (well, maybe one-the eye doctor told me I was doing the eye test wrong????) But mostly, I am happy with the care they give me). I was thinking, as I passed this Tom, Dick, and Margaret that how odd it is that we love to hear the comments and remarks of strangers (twitter, facebook, etc...); but, we don't stop to ask for the comments of those who we pass by daily. Hmmm, what would happen if we did stop and ask "what would you like to comment about today?" what would they reply? But most important, would we have the courage to do so?
Where is it written that this is not allowed? That it is not proper social etiquette. I would like to strengthen myself to one day (or at least 1 hour) to try this. If anyone would read this and does attempt it, please let me know the results. I am suspecting it will be a exercise of failure. But what would you say or comment about/on if someone asked you?
